Cellulite treatment
Deep connective tissue massage that targets the cause — not the surface.
Cellulite treatment
Cellulite is a connective tissue problem
Cellulite is not caused by excess weight or lack of exercise. The cause lies deeper: in the subcutaneous connective tissue. Fibrous bands connect the skin to deeper tissue. When these bands form adhesions and fat cells bulge between them, the characteristic orange-peel skin appears. Diet and exercise cannot resolve these structural adhesions. Manual treatment can.
How it works
Why does connective tissue massage work for cellulite?
Cellulite treatments such as LPG endermologie, cryolipolysis and anti-cellulite creams work on fatty tissue or the skin surface. They do not resolve the underlying connective tissue adhesions — and that is precisely the problem.
Connective tissue massage targets the fascia: the three-dimensional network of connective tissue beneath your skin. Deep manual pressure breaks down adhesions in this network. At the same time, lymphatic drainage stimulates the removal of fluid and waste products that accumulate in the affected tissue.
Break down adhesions
Targeted pressure resolves the adhesions that pull the skin downwards and cause the dimpled appearance.
Restore circulation
Improved blood circulation brings oxygen and nutrients back into the affected tissue, allowing collagen and elastin to regenerate.
Drain fluid
Device-assisted lymphatic drainage (pressotherapy) stimulates the removal of fluid and waste products that worsen cellulite.
The Bodyfix Method
Diagnosis first, then treatment
We begin every treatment relationship with a Bodyreading: a thorough analysis of your connective tissue, skin structure and complaints. This tells us exactly where the adhesions are, how severe the cellulite is and which treatment protocol is most effective for your body.
A personalised treatment plan follows. Not a standard approach, but a course tailored to your skin type, lifestyle and goals.
Our therapists are trained in the self-developed Bodyfix Method and have a minimum of 2,500 hours of practical experience. We are a treatment institute — not a salon.
Results
What can you expect?
We are honest about what connective tissue massage does — and what it does not. Cellulite does not disappear after one session and does not improve without consistency.
First sessions
Activation of the connective tissue. You feel the treatment, circulation improves. Visible results begin to form.
Visible results
Most clients see noticeable improvement in skin texture and cellulite visibility. Adhesions dissolve, skin looks smoother.
Lasting effect
Structural restoration of the connective tissue. Monthly maintenance sessions sustain the results.
Results depend on the severity of cellulite, lifestyle and individual recovery capacity. After your free consultation we will give you a realistic picture.

Frequently asked questions
Everything about cellulite treatment at Bodyfix
What is cellulite and why is it so hard to treat? +
Cellulite forms when adhesions develop in the subcutaneous connective tissue (fascia). Fibrous bands pull the skin downwards while fat cells push upwards — creating the characteristic dimpled appearance. Diet and exercise cannot resolve these structural adhesions. Only targeted manual treatment can break them down.
How many treatments do I need for cellulite? +
Most clients see visible results after 5–8 treatments. For lasting results we recommend a course of 10–15 sessions, depending on the severity of the cellulite. After your free consultation we will give you an honest picture of what to expect.
Does connective tissue massage work better than LPG or cryolipolysis? +
Connective tissue massage targets the adhesions in the fascia network — the actual cause of cellulite. LPG and cryo work primarily on fatty tissue and the skin surface. For structural improvement of skin texture, manual treatment is more effective in the long term.
Is the treatment painful? +
The treatment is intensive and can feel uncomfortable, particularly where there are adhesions in the connective tissue. It is not a relaxation massage. After treatment the skin may be red or slightly sensitive — this is normal and passes quickly.
Can I come to Bodyfix for cellulite on my stomach or arms? +
Yes. The Beautiful Legs treatment focuses primarily on legs and buttocks, but we also treat the stomach and other body areas. The Body treatment addresses sagging skin and cellulite across the whole body.
What does a cellulite treatment at Bodyfix cost? +
A session costs €65 (30 min), €130 (60 min) or €195 (90 min). Session cards (5 sessions) offer better value: €300, €600 or €900. The type of treatment does not affect the price.
How does Bodyfix differ from other practitioners in Amsterdam? +
Bodyfix works exclusively with the self-developed Bodyfix Method: deep manual connective tissue massage combined with device-assisted lymphatic drainage. We always start with a diagnosis (Bodyreading) before treating. Our therapists have a minimum of 2,500 hours of practical experience.
