Pregnancy Massage
Lymphatic drainage and connective tissue massage for a healthier, lighter feeling throughout your pregnancy.
Pregnancy massage
Your body changes — we support it
During pregnancy your body changes significantly. Pregnancy hormones thin the vessel walls, the lymphatic system becomes overloaded, and fluid accumulates in the tissues. The result: swollen legs, back pain, varicose veins and fatigue. These are not unavoidable side effects — they are treatable complaints.
The treatment
More than relaxation
Our pregnancy massage is a medically therapeutic treatment — not a spa experience. We combine deep connective tissue massage with device-assisted lymphatic drainage (pressotherapy). Together they work on three levels: activating the lymphatic system, draining fluid, and relieving tension in the connective tissue.
Our therapists are specially trained in pregnancy massage and adapt pressure, technique and positioning to your stage of pregnancy. We always begin with a brief consultation to ensure treatment can be safely tailored to your situation.
Complaints we treat
What can we help with?
Fluid retention
Swollen legs, ankles and hands caused by accumulation of pregnancy fluid. Lymphatic drainage actively stimulates drainage.
Back pain & varicose veins
Connective tissue massage relieves pressure on the back and supports blood circulation in the legs, which helps to limit varicose veins.
Stretch mark prevention
Keeping the connective tissue supple during pregnancy reduces the risk of stretch marks caused by rapid skin stretching.
Our expertise
Treatment by specialists
Bodyfix was founded by Agnieszka Kadula, who developed the Bodyfix Method after years of specialisation in deep connective tissue massage. Our therapists are trained in this method and have a minimum of 2,500 hours of practical experience — including specific training in pregnancy massage and perinatal care.
We are a treatment institute, not a salon. This means: every treatment begins with a diagnosis, the techniques are therapeutic in nature, and we collaborate with midwives and gynaecologists when there are medical indications.
Bodyfix has been featured in Vogue NL, Talkies Magazine and the TV programme &C with Chantal Janzen.

Frequently asked questions
Everything about pregnancy massage at Bodyfix
From which week is pregnancy massage safe? +
At Bodyfix we start pregnancy massage from 14 weeks. In the first trimester we advise against treatment due to the increased risk of miscarriage. When in doubt or if there are medical complications, we always consult with your midwife or gynaecologist.
What is the difference from a regular relaxation massage? +
Our pregnancy massage combines connective tissue massage with device-assisted lymphatic drainage. We focus on the medical complaints of pregnancy: fluid retention, swelling, back pain and varicose veins. This is a targeted therapeutic treatment by specially trained therapists — not a spa massage.
Does pregnancy massage help with swollen legs and ankles? +
Yes. Fluid retention during pregnancy is caused by pregnancy hormones thinning the vessel walls and overloading the lymphatic system. Lymphatic drainage actively stimulates the removal of this pregnancy fluid. Many clients experience noticeable relief immediately after treatment.
Is lymphatic drainage safe during pregnancy? +
Yes, manual lymphatic drainage and device-assisted pressotherapy are safe during pregnancy when performed by specialist therapists. We adapt the pressure and technique to the stage of pregnancy. In cases of pre-eclampsia, placenta praevia or other medical indications, we always consult with your healthcare provider first.
How many sessions are recommended? +
We recommend 1 session every 1–2 weeks from the second trimester. In the third trimester, weekly treatment may be beneficial. After your consultation we will suggest a frequency that suits your complaints and the progress of your pregnancy.
What are the contraindications? +
Contraindications: first trimester (under 14 weeks), pre-eclampsia, placenta praevia, threatened premature labour, deep vein thrombosis and active skin infections. When in doubt: always consult your midwife or gynaecologist first.
Can I come to Bodyfix after giving birth? +
Yes. Post-partum recovery is one of our specialisms. We help with removing remaining pregnancy fluid and fat, strengthening the abdominal muscles and treating stretch marks and caesarean section scars. Treatment can start 6 weeks after a natural delivery.
What does pregnancy massage at Bodyfix cost? +
A session costs €65 (30 min), €130 (60 min) or €195 (90 min). Session cards (5 sessions) are available for €300, €600 or €900. The type of treatment does not affect the price.
