The treatment
What is lipoedema legs massage?
Lipoedema legs is the BODYFIX treatment for legs with lipoedema, in Amsterdam-Zuid. We combine Lymphatic drainage and Connective tissue massage, in the order that suits your legs. Choose 30 or 60 minutes, from €70.
BODYFIX has worked with its own method for connective tissue massage and lymphatic drainage since 2008. Our experience includes lipoedema, lymphoedema, pregnancy and the period around a procedure. We train our own therapists; doctors and clinics refer clients to us.
How it works
We work in a fixed order. If there is a lot of fluid in your legs, we start with lymphatic drainage.

We combine lymphatic drainage and connective tissue massage in the order that suits your legs. If there is a lot of fluid in your legs, we start with lymphatic drainage.

Manual work on your legs' connective tissue, adapted to tissue that may be sensitive to pressure. We always respect what you can tolerate and adjust the pressure accordingly.

A single treatment is fine. In a series, we can work deeper each time. After every five treatments, we look together at how to continue.

Your lymphatic system carries fluid away. Lymphatic drainage supports natural fluid drainage. Connective tissue massage targets the tissue under your skin with hand techniques and pressure. For lipoedema, we combine them in the order that suits your legs.
What do we start with?
If there is a lot of fluid in your legs, we start with lymphatic drainage. During Body Reading, we look and feel for tension, fluid or adhesions and discuss the order with you.
Does connective tissue massage hurt?
You will feel that we work firmly and with focus. We adjust the pressure to what feels comfortable for you, and you set the pace.
What does a treatment cost?
Connective tissue massage costs €70 for 30 minutes or €140 for 60 minutes. Lymphatic drainage in the suit costs €45 for 30 minutes. Together in one appointment, it is the Ultimate BODYFIX Massage, from €115. The intake is free.
Do I need an intake first?
You can book directly, even on your first visit. Prefer to meet first? Plan a free 10-minute intake. You can also book your intake and first treatment back to back.
How often should I come back?
A single treatment is fine. In a series, we can work deeper each time. After every five treatments, we look together at how to continue. Buy a package of 5 at reception; it is valid until 10 weeks after your first treatment.
Do I need a referral?
No. Book yourself, online. Doctors and clinics also refer clients to us.
Where is BODYFIX?
In Amsterdam-Zuid, at Legmeerplein 7H and Haarlemmermeerstraat 115H, about a minute's walk apart. Lymphatic drainage in the suit takes place at Legmeerplein 7H.
Does this replace my doctor's care?
No. We provide massage alongside the care of your doctor or therapist. If you are receiving treatment for lipoedema, tell us at your intake.
